Disney Theatrical Productions Announces ALADDIN Ticket Upgrade Program

Disney Theatrical Productions partners with Volantio to announce RePrize, an all-new ticket upgrade program for the Broadway production of Aladdin. Disney Theatrical Productions is the first company outside of the airline industry to offer this innovative program from Volantio, a leader in travel technology known for offering unique programs to reward customer flexibility.

How it works: Invited to some Aladdin shows with exceptionally high demand are welcome to change their performance dates and, in doing so, be upgraded to a higher seat location – at no cost. Some guests will proactively receive an upgrade offer via email days or weeks before their show, giving them plenty of time to change their plans if they wish. Jthere is no obligation to respond; if the guest chooses to keep their original performance date, they simply ignore the offer.

“RePrize presents an innovative new way to reward our guests for their flexibility, providing them with unexpected fun,” said Nick Falzon, vice president of sales and analytics at Disney Theatrical Productions. “We are excited to expand this customer-centric capability to Broadway.”

This new program represents another historic ticket flexibility initiative provided by Disney, following its generous COVID exchange policies and Broadway’s first use of Ticketmaster’s Safetix platform, which enables electronic ticket transfer capability. in real time.

“Through our work in the travel industry, we’ve seen the power of unexpected perks like complimentary upgrade offers to surprise and delight customers,” said Azim Barodawala, CEO of Volantio. “We congratulate Disney Theatrical Productions on their first-of-its-kind launch.”

Disney Theatrical and Volantio are also teaming up to bring similar benefits to Frozen audiences in Australia, as well as using Volantio’s technology to streamline the guest booking process, if needed.
