Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Tag Team and more will perform at the PPL Center on June 24
September 20, 2021 – Universal Attractions Agency will bring The I Love the 90s Tour back on some stages this year. With headliner Vanilla ice creamthe tour will additionally host a rotating lineup of ’90s hitmakers, including Basic Rob, Kid ‘n Play, Naughty By Nature, Coolio, Young MC, All-4-One, C+C Music Factory feat. Freedom Williams, Tone Loc, Sir Mix-A-lot and Beacon team. presale for PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania will begin Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 18, 2022 at www.pplcenter.com.
After the global pandemic suspended live events for over a year, The I Love the 90s Tour is excited to return to the touring space. Several shows have been confirmed for this summer, a strong sign that the touring circuit is starting to come back to life. “Dates are being added as we speak,” according to Jeff Allen, co-owner of Universal Attractions and co-creator of the tour. “When the phones started ringing again, it was clear the fans wanted to get out of the shutdown, and that’s the I love the 90s tour.”
“The ice cream is back, just like The I Love the 90s Tour», confirms the headliner of the tour, Vanilla ice cream. “We’re going to be hitting your city LIVE and IN PERSON this summer, so you better get in where you are and get back to the 90s where the party never stopped!”
This is the latest iteration of the hit comeback tour which launched in 2016 and was “an instant hit” according to rolling stone. The tour has been highlighted on a myriad of other major outlets over the years, including a Today’s show resumed 2 years in a row, Pitbull’s Eve on Fox and hello america. The concept also held a Las Vegas residency and over 300 tour dates, landing
it is on the list of top-grossing tours ahead of some of today’s biggest bands, in 2016 according to Pollstar magazine.
