Jurassic World Live Tour is coming to the DCU Center in Worcester in April 2023

Based on the hit “Jurassic World” film series, the Jurassic World Live Tour, “an exhilarating and unpredictable live family entertainment experience” is coming to the DCU Center in Worcester in April 2023.

Ticket pre-sales began on Tuesday, October 18 for the tour’s “preferred customers” and tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Tuesday, October 25, according to Feld Entertainment, which produces and presents the tour live.

There will be six total performances at the DCU Center spread over three weekend dates from Friday, April 14 through Sunday, April 16 next year, according to Feld Entertainment. The first performance is at 7 p.m. this Friday, with a performance at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, in addition to another performance at 11 a.m. and a final one at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

In performances, ‘Jurassic World’ films come to life against a backdrop of ‘captivating landscapes’ in which fan-favorite dinosaurs such as ‘Blue’ the Velociraptor and a more than 40-foot-long Tyrannosaurus rex take center stage. , Feld Entertainment said.

More than 24 “life-size, realistic dinosaurs with scale, speed and ferocity” that are operated by animatronics and artists will be featured in the production in addition to “real gyrospheres” circulating in the performance space, a added Feld Entertainment.

The “original and authentic storyline” premise involves a group of scientists working to “unravel a corrupt plan and save a new dinosaur from a terrible fate,” Feld Entertainment said. There will also be “thrilling stunts” involved, he added.

Ticket prices start at $20, but are subject to change with possible additional fees, Feld Entertainment said. All seats are reserved and tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the DCU Center box office.
