Thor 4 TV Spot confirms Monday ticket sales and showcases The Guardians

A new TV spot for Thor: Love and Thunder reveals tickets will be available this Monday, June 13, and shows more Guardians of the Galaxy in action in Marvel’s upcoming sequel.

Thor: Love and Thunder sees Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder return to the big screen for his fourth solo outing, an honor that has yet to be bestowed on any of Thor’s other Avengers. The film is directed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and sees the Asgardian teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy, who he was last seen with in late 2019 Avengers: Endgame.

New Thor: Love and Thunder The TV spot is accompanied by a slew of new footage, ahead of the reveal when ticket sales open on Monday. The footage offers a new look at the Guardians of the Galaxy in action as they get angry at Thor. After Drax proclaims, “We’re all about to die,” Rocket tells the God of Thunder, “You said it would be a relaxing vacation!” to which Thor replies, “I said it was going to be As relaxing vacations.

The TV spot also shows Christian Bale’s Gorr the Butcher God clashing with Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, who wields one of Zeus’ golden lightning bolts. Check out the new trailer below:

What role will the Guardians of the Galaxy have in Thor: Love and Thunder isn’t clear yet, though the initial trailer for the film seems to suggest they’ll be parting ways with Thor very soon. Drax’s fears of impending death are likely unfounded, considering the Guardians have at least two more appearances lined up – this year’s one. Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney Plus and 2023 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on an unprecedented journey – a quest for inner peace. But his retreat is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magic hammer, Mjolnir, as Mighty. Thor. Together they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s revenge and stop him before it’s too late.

Directed by Taika Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn and Russell Crowe.
