Walt Disney World Adds New PhotoPass Lenses, MagicMobile Ticket Designs, Rainbow Mickey Ear Embroidery and More to Commemorate Pride Month

As Pride Month kicks off, the Disney Parks Blog has shared some of the new ways guests can commemorate, as Disney strengthens its commitment to recognizing and celebrating the contributions, cultures, and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This year, at all four Walt Disney World theme parks, look for all-new, incredible Pride-themed backdrops celebrating love. Each photo wall in the park is unique, themed around its surroundings, and honors the diversity and pride within the LGBTQIA+ community. Here we see the one from EPCOT, we’ve already spotted the purple wall overlay at Magic Kingdom.

For those who want to do something a little different, the Disney PhotoPass service will feature photo props like a rainbow umbrella, magical photos and colorful photo opportunities throughout Walt Disney World, as well as new canvases. backdrops at the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs.

At Disney Springs, guests will find new settings and photo opportunities to celebrate Pride Month, as well as a new photo opportunity inspired by “Love, Victor” – a Hulu Original series. Don’t miss the Disney Springs Art Walk, which celebrates the work of local artists and artists from around the world and currently features new work by multimedia artist, designer and muralist Chad Mize.

Locations such as T-REX Cafe, Kendra Scott, Kate Spade New York, Coca Cola Store and more will also be offering great deals throughout June. Learn more about the latest Disney Springs Pride Month deals here.

Of course, no party is complete without food! Coming soon, keep an eye out for this month’s Food Guide for limited-time food and beverage deals available throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Four new MagicMobile pass models for iPhone, Apple Watch and select Android devices compatible with Google Pay will be available. This one reads “Share Your Pride” with the Progressive Pride design.

The second is a purple gradient with “Disney Pride” on the left and a silhouette of Mickey with the Progressive Pride flag on the right.

The third is a simple rainbow with Mickey’s hands forming a heart symbol. The hearts are visible from all sides.

And finally, the fourth design features the Progressive Pride flag on the right with “Belong, Believe, Be Proud” on the left.

No matter what guests are celebrating, an iconic ear cap has been a Disney tradition since the very beginning. Guests of all ages can have them embroidered to celebrate all kinds of milestones, from “First Visit” to “Just Married.” Starting this month, Disney is introducing new stitching color options to share your pride. These new customization options will be available year-round and will feature the colors of the Pride and Transgender flags. Customization options will soon be available at Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories at Disney Springs and other Walt Disney World locations.

Full of Disney Pride merchandise is already available in California, from the standard to the same “Star Wars” theme, and more seem to be on the way. The Walt Disney Company will donate all proceeds from Disney Pride Collection sales through June 30, 2022 to support LGBTQIA+ youth and families.
