The Ticket to Ride cross-country train adventure heads west to the Golden City in the latest installment in the board game series, Ticket to Ride: San Francisco.

After New York, London and Amsterdam, Ticket to Ride: San Francisco is the fourth entry in the Board Game City Editions, which are smaller versions of the original Ticket to Ride board game that feature faster gameplay. Ticket to Ride: San Francisco challenges players to ride through San Francisco’s iconic landmarks in under 15 minutes. Along the way, players can collect souvenirs in hopes of scoring more points than their opponents.

The game comes with a map of San Francisco that serves as a game board, mini cable car game pieces, SF destination cards, transportation cards, and a punch board. Although there’s little time to stop and look, this quick tour takes in some of the city’s most notable attractions, including the Painted Ladies, Alcatraz, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge.

With its easy-to-learn rules and strategy-based gameplay, this game offers the perfect (and perhaps only) opportunity to shamelessly embrace your inner tourist. Grab your fanny pack, binoculars and maybe some sunscreen as things are sure to heat up.

Ticket to Ride: San Francisco will be available for purchase in August for $24.99 exclusively at Target. In the meantime, check out the game’s trailer below!
